Utilising food&desire ensures premium quality produce with particular emphasis on seasonal local produce made possible by our close relationship with local suppliers and growers. Our approach is fresh and innovative, incorporating global flavours with emphasis on modern Australian cuisine. The food style is creative, responding to clients needs by tailoring and designing menus aligned to their brief. food&desire operates from a recently renovated state-of-the-art production kitchen in Richmond.

Whether it is private dinners, board room catering, cocktail parties, special occasions, product launches, weddings, exhibitions or fashion shows food&desire offer exceptional service.

In addition to the private and corporate division, food&desire have also established a successful kosher catering division in recent years. By contemporising kosher food and bringing the desire approach to this sector, the kosher division has quickly established itself at the forefront of the Melbourne kosher market alongside its non kosher division.

Expanding the company’s venue portfolio, food&desire recently transformed the Harbour Room, upstairs at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron on St Kilda’s foreshore. Interior designer Chris Connell, who designed Carousel on Albert Park Lake, renovated the space unveiling a modern event space accommodating from 50 to 400 guests. With views of St Kilda pier, beach, Westgate Bridge and Melbourne’s skyline this is Melbourne’s newest waterfront venue. food&desire also manages Carousel on Albert Park Lake, is the preferred caterer at the State Library of Victoria, Abbotsford Convent among many other unique venues across Melbourne.
